My New Years Resolution is....

Well, its not to blog more often, because I know I won't manage to keep that. I do have some photos that need to be transferred, and I have some stories to tell of my mum's visit and her quilting (I have just packed away my Christmas corner, including two Xmas wall hangings, a tree skirt and as of this Christmas, two themed place mats, all courtesy of my mother's quilting addiction). I also have some knitting photos including one finished object (again courtesy of my mother, who I managed to convince to sew it up for me - Thanks Mum!).

However, in an attempt to have something prior to SnB starts up again for the year, I am providing a link to my current project. Again, thanks to my Mum, who on her recent quilt tour in the Eastern US found time to pick me up a knitting pattern book. Well, I can't actually find a picture of the 'Faux Cardigan' from the book, but it is similar to the picture shown on the bottom right, with the diamonds being open all the way up the front and along the arms. There's some nice patterns in the book, so I will probably knit a few.

I am also knitting a Little Miss Sunshine toy, although who will receive it is yet to be determined; one of my three nieces, or one of my friends, two of whom have babies on the way.
