Whilst I have mixed feelings about Tapestry Craft, they are having a sale this weekend (Feb 2-3). Its at their warehouse in Erskineville. Not sure that it involves much yarn

discontinued cross stitch and tapestry samples, knitted samples, framed mirrors, and other artwork.

but it near where I live so I might check it out.
